Who we are

The Slovak Association of Private Investigators was founded in 2016 by three former intelligence officers who moved to the private sector after their careers.

Since its inception, the Association has significantly advanced the Slovak detective scene. It represents selected detective agencies that have met strict membership criteria, thus ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. It also issues private detective cards.

Our primary focus is on bringing together private detectives and detective agencies. However, this is not the end of our scope of membership. We also associate other relevant entities interested in accessing our in-house projects. This diversification of membership allows us to maintain synergy between different professional groups and provide our partners with the opportunity for development and innovation.

The Association has successfully implemented a number of internal projects. Its most significant achievement can be considered the INVYS system. This innovative system uses artificial intelligence to analyse key databases necessary for searching information about persons and companies within the Slovak Republic. The system is actively used by private detectives and investigative journalists to support their investigative work.

It also launched a project called Detective Blog in early 2023. This blog is designed to cover a wide range of topics related to the detective and espionage field. It allows for the expansion of knowledge and understanding of these topics for the wider public
