Who we are and what we do
The Slovak Association of Private Investigators was established in 2016 by professionals with experience in intelligence, security and analytical work. Its purpose is to raise the professional standard of private investigation services in Slovakia, support lawful and discreet practice and create space for cooperation between professional investigation agencies.
The Association brings together selected investigation agencies that meet its membership criteria and commit to expertise, credibility, discretion and responsible client work. Since its founding, it has helped cultivate the investigation sector, develop professional projects and strengthen public trust in private investigation services.

What we do
Investigation services
The Slovak Association of Private Investigators brings together selected investigation agencies active in different areas of private investigation. We help clients better understand their options and find a suitable member agency according to the nature of the case.
Member agencies handle private, family and corporate cases, including background checks, surveillance, tracing, information gathering, privacy protection, fraud investigation and support in sensitive business or security situations. We emphasise lawful procedure, discretion, professional communication and protection of client information.
Project development
Alongside bringing investigation agencies together, we develop professional projects that support the development of private investigation practice in Slovakia. Our aim is to provide Association members with tools, procedures and professional background that help them work more efficiently, safely and professionally.
Our projects include, for example INVYS - Intelligent Search System, which supports information work, analytical verification of connections and search-related tasks. The system is intended mainly for authorised users in investigation, analytical and investigative environments.
Our work also includes educational and informational content for the public. Through expert articles and projects, we explain how private investigation services work, where their legal boundaries are and when it may be appropriate to contact a professional investigation agency.
