Article 1 – Basic Provisions

I. Nature of the Civic Association

The Civic Association Slovak Association of Private Detectives (hereinafter referred to as “the Civic Association” or “the Association”) is a voluntary, non-governmental, non-political civic association within the meaning of Act No. 83/1990 Coll. on the Association of Citizens in its valid wording.
A civic association is a voluntary social organisation without legal predecessor. Within the meaning of Section 2(3) of Act No 83/1990 Coll., as amended, a civic association is a legal person with independent legal personality.

II. Name and registered office of the civic association
